3 - 1776 by PuckRox 3 - 1776 by PuckRox
Remember how 1776 is one of the best musicals ever? Les Miz might've been my first favorite musical, Fiddler on the Roof might've been the play that made me want to act, but 1776 turned me onto my love of showtunes. I made a bunch of really simple banners a while back and thought I'd share the good ones with everyone.

John's always been my favorite character, no matter how much the rest of Congress hated him. My friend and I got in this huge brawl about who was cooler: John Adams or Thomas Jefferson. I don't think it was ever settled. Ah well, she never saw 1776. If she had she would've agreed with me!

1776 (c) Sherman Edwards

"If I'm the one to do it, they'll run their quilpens through it. I'm obnoxious and disliked you know that."

How can I forget this musical? I've practically got the whole thing memorized, considering I helped my local community theater in it as assistant director and a minor roll. Whenever someone wasn't there I would fill in for them and memorize the lines perfectly.

Well, if a community theater starts running auditions for it you might get lucky.

Jefferson had the brains,
Adams had the fire.
(Personality-wise, not literally).

I know!!! I think once people see this movie then they truly understand how much he worked for America's freedom. I think he's the real founding father of the group. Though Jefferson wrote it, Adams was the one who made him. :D

I totally agree John Adams is cooler then Jefferson.

But my old History teacher hasa huge crush on Jefferson. In the movie, and the real person.

And The movie "1776" totally rocked.
